What makes our sandwich, wraps and rolls so fresh

Our morning routine – at 7am on the dot we collect our freshly baked rolls, baguettes and wraps for the day by the time we get home to butter them they are still warm!

Our salads are checked before slicing to ensure they are ripped to perfection. Anything even slightly passed it's best is not used in our catering and that’s a promise.

Whilst one of the team is collecting the bread we start hand slicing our joints for the day they include British gammon ham, prime beef, haslet amongst others as well as making our fresh sandwich fillings using family recipes.

We work together as a team to create each platter ensuring as soon as one is completed they are wrapped in our stay fresh bags then popped straight into the fridge to ensure no drying out of the bread or rolls.

Our vans refrigeration systems are put on around 30 minutes before loading to ensure they are the correct temperature when loading to keep the freshness locked in.

We then deliver free of charge for you to enjoy.

Linda – The Boss

Linda is still very hands on and works alongside the staff on a daily basis ensuring the quality is kept to our high standards. You will see her delivering our freshly made platters most days “for me it is very important to meet customers face to face on a daily basis, this is where I get honest feedback as well as a sense of pride every time I deliver”

Joe – Sales Guru

Deals with the marketing and sales side of the business.

Danni - Kitchen Manager

Danni joined us in May 2013 on a work experience program from the job centre, since taking her on she has grown in confidence so much she is now in charge of arranging our food as well as running the kitchen when Linda is away. She has a 7 year old son called Damien who comes to play in the garden and office over school holidays and weekends when Danni is working

Emily – Our fruit skewer queen!

Emily is our neighbour, she comes in before and after school to prep all the fresh fruit and veg and of course make our fruit skewers! She is currently studying her GCSE’S and wants to be a midwife. We have a personal agreement that she will continue to work with us as long as her grades stay on track which they are doing.

Welcome to the vines! We are very excited for the launch of our new website. In our blog we will keep you upto date with special offers, what we’ve been upto and letting you in on a few secret family recipes…well they won’t be a secret anymore! A big thank you to all of our customers current and past, we really appreciate your support and will continue to serve Peterborough and surrounding area with fresh local homemade food.
